Andrew has been ploughing the field of short stories for a long time now and has a number of his own full collections for you to go and see. Our favourite is his first, Something Nice, go and seek it out.
Andrew Lawston and his wife Melanie live in London with an exuberant cocker spaniel and a preternaturally aloof black cat. When he’s not doing the day job thing in magazine publishing, Andrew is an actor of mild ubiquity upon the fringes of the London stage, and a writer of short fiction. He has worked with a number of publishers from “micro” to “will they be offended if I call them ‘micro’?” presses, including Fringeworks, Quantum Corsets, Obverse and Chinbeard Books. Andrew also self-publishes both his own writing, and translations of obscure French books. He is currently working on a series of books about a cat detective, so he has become pretty much everything he ever despised.
